A World Health Organization (WHO) documentary cites examples of two countries in the world controlling and eradicating the corona epidemic. The two countries are New Zealand and Thailand. A WHO team is now in Thailand shooting for the documentary. News of the Bangkok Post.
The director of the Department of Medical Sciences at the National Institute of Health in Thailand. Balang Upapang posted about this on his Facebook. A WHO official working in Thailand confirmed the incident to the Bangkok Post on Wednesday.
Dr. Balang highlighted some parts of his interview in the documentary. There he gave an idea of how many laboratories there are in the country for corona testing. He also highlighted their policy in the Corona War. Balang said, ‘One province, one laboratory, one-day report this is our policy. Now there are 207 laboratories across the country.
Only six Covid-19 patients were identified in Thailand on Thursday. All of them come from outside. So far 3 thousand 261 infected patients in the country. Of these, 3,105 have recovered. So far 57 people have died in the country due to Kovid-19.
However, in this country, which is one of the centers of tourism in the world, there is a fear of corona infection in the second phase. Because of this month, everything including trade and commerce has been opened in the country.
"We are at high risk of contracting the virus because of the opening up of tourism to foreigners," said Thira Varatanarat, dean of the Department of Medicine at the University of Chualalankorn in Thailand.
